This exhibition presented seventy sculptures by Joan Miró, revealing the artist’s distinctive sculptural language developed through and beyond such movements as Dadaism, Cubism, and Surrealism. It was organized in conjunction with an exhibition held in Paris the previous year to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Miró’s birth.
Among the works featured in the exhibition, edition no. 3 of Personnage dans la nuit, from an edition of four, as well as Femmes dans la nuit (1946) and Bipinto et Collage au Compensato (1936), are now in the collection of the Sezon Museum of Modern Art.
