How to Experience the Museum
Reconnect — Welcome Back
A Microcosm Woven from the Earth’s Memory and Human Sensibility
Nestled at the foot of Mt. Asama, this museum is a place not for a quick stop during sightseeing, but for spending unhurried time in dialogue with art.
Here, being surrounded by artworks feels natural and joyful.
Your body may quietly respond to a work of art.
As you walk through the garden, you may sense the pulse of the earth beneath your feet.
Then, in the café, you can savor the lingering impressions of your experience.
Together, these moments form a single, gently unfolding journey.
Light, air, and scent.
The memories, emotions, and time carried by each visitor accumulate in layers, giving rise to a landscape that exists only in that particular moment.
You do not need to create anything.
You do not need to find the right answer.
Simply allow yourself to be moved.
Filled with seven little wonders,
the museum opens a space where you may find yourself smiling unexpectedly.
