MIMESIS
Yukie Ishikawa, Yuumi Domoto, Kozue Hibino, Tae Morita

This exhibition focused on the distinctive “forms” created by each artist and explored the sources of their creative expression. Drawing on a wide range of elements—including everyday experiences, existing images, the body, and narrative—the participating artists transformed these influences into highly individual works. The subtitle, Mimesis: My Form, approached mimesis not as simple imitation, but as a creative process through which new forms emerge from what is seen and experienced. The exhibition provided an opportunity to consider the possibilities of artistic expression and individual creativity in contemporary art.
